Strengths

Several state-of-the-art research centers are associated with the College, including the Edible and Medicinal Mushrooms Research Center, Food Safety and Inspection Center, Internet Addiction Prevention and Treatment Center. What mentioned above are prospective featured research centers and affiliated hospitals.

1. The Edible and Medicinal Mushrooms Research Center cultivates high-value edible-medical mushrooms to extract functional ingredients, examine biological functions, and develop related mushroom products. This center is the only mushroom research center at an education institution in Taiwan.
2. The Food Safety and Inspection Center provides services in gene, microbial and chemical and toxicological inspection, and is the first center to specializing in genetically modified food inspection.
3. The Internet Addiction Prevention and Treatment Center aims to prevent and treat internet addiction, and determine the influence of internet use. The missions include research, service, training and social advocacy.

 Asia University can take social responsibility to promote rehabilitation medical care via the center.
