Dr. Pei-Fang Hung gives enlightening presentation on bilingual aphasia
Dr. Pei-Fang Hung from the Department of Speech-Language Pathology of California State University, Long Beach, was invited by the Department as a speaker on “Cross-Linguistic Generalization: Semantic Treatment Transfer Effect in Bilingual Aphasia” on May 26th, 2016. Dr. Hung's presentation attracted prospective students of Class of 2020, and engaged students in enthusiastic discussions.
The two departments also discussed the potentials of international exchange between the two universities, including offering short-term courses and visits, clinical observations, faculty exchange, educational research and international collaborations. The Department Chair, Dr. Hwa Sheng, indicated that the seminar was successful and looked forward to signing the memorandum of understanding (MOU).
“Although our Department is preparing for the arrival of our first academic year, we have already begun to build our connections domestically and internationally,” said Sheng.
